The Georgia Council of Chapters is a 501c(19), Not For Profit Georgia Corporation.  The Officers are all from the Georgia Chapters across the State. 

Elected Officers serve a 2 year term.  Appointed Officers serve at their own length; These (appointed) offices have committies for the various programs involving State-wide military issues.

Meetings are held in:

     January - Training for new officers (non-business)

     May - 1st business meeting of the fiscal year.

     Conference - Held in the Fall at pre-selected and volunteered Host Chapter locations. Included is the 2nd Business Meeting.  Attendance includes National MOAA Executives and Directors.
