Columbus, an extraordinary city, with a vibrant, artsy energy, phenomenal food and ample outdoor recreation. Even our past comes alive with living history events and lifelike museum exhibits. Columbus blends old and new, wild and mild, entertainment and experiences make it both under the radar and over the top. Stroll along Columbus’ iconic Chattahoochee RiverWalk.

Watch people in rafts plunge through the spray of the water in the longest urban whitewater course in the world while others enjoy a leisurely paddle in the river’s flat-water areas. A few streets over along the RiverWalk, locally owned stores and boutiques welcome shoppers who enjoy the easily walkable shopping districts. Fashionistas and antique pickers alike can go from shop to shop before sitting under a table umbrella, and dine al fresco.
