MOAA Members

Our February Lunch Meeting will be on Veteran Homeless in Columbus.

MOAA Has 3 Primary Focus Areas:  Advocacy in Action; Camaraderie; and Community Service, this is part of the third area

We have two speakers who worked with Chaplain Roy Plummer, who was one of our members, who are working to expand the Plummer Home.  One of our mail Objectives is Community Service, and this fits perfectly.

We assisted with coordinating with the Georgia Coalition of One, a military veteran state wide 501.c.3, to bring backpacks to the Plummer Home during Christmas.

We can learn more and possibly support Homeless Veterans and pursue small MOAA grants to help those who need assistance.

Come and learn more about how MOAA is supporting all Veterans.

Tuesday, Feb 21

Time: 11:30 am

Where:  St Luke Methodist Church Community Center, 3rd Ave & 11st Street, Columbus GA

Lunch Menu will be a Special Mardi Gras style menu.

RSVP:  bhadden@mindspring.com
